MAOMBI YA MKOPO ELIMU YA JUU 2024/25 ( HESLB )

 

General Criteria for First-Year Applicants:

1. Citizenship: Must be a Tanzanian citizen.
2. Age: Must be no older than 35 years old at the time of application.
3. Admission: Must have secured full-time admission to an accredited higher education institution in Tanzania, including the Open University of Tanzania (OUT).
4. Application: Must have submitted a complete and accurate application through the Online Loan Application and Management System (OLAMS).
5. Employment: Must not have a formal or regular income from employment or an established contract in either the public or private sector.
6. Previous Loan Repayment: For students who have previously dropped out or discontinued their studies, proof of repayment of at least 25% of any prior HESLB loan is required.
7. Completion of ACSEE: Must have completed the Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (ACSEE) or an equivalent qualification within the past five years (from 2019 to 2023 inclusive).
